CALCULATING BENEFICIAL INTERESTS Converted
Переглядів 1,6 тис.3 роки тому
This is a method of calculating working interests in a pooled unit or JOA that takes into account the royalty fraction negotiated in the individual lease. Typically, the calculation is simply the number of lease acres contributing to the unit divided by the total unit acres, regardless of the royalty in the lease. Bu using beneficial interests, we change the formula by creating "net revenue acr...

IV NRI Calculations of Mineral Owner Pooled Unit Problem 1
Just watch it and it's very helpful. I caught the error right away and used it as a test of my knowledge. 😊
You are FABULOUS! I was left some mineral rights in another state by a relative who died and have been STRUGGLING to make sense of how to compute my owner decimal amount. This is absolutely perfect! THANK YOU for making these videos.
This video is GREAT! I read a lot of articles about this topic but they were very confusing. Thank you for putting this together. A picture is worth a thousand words!
Not like that in Texas
This is so helpful, thank you!
Hello there! I want to learn how to run title on runsheet
7:23 minutes, the NE 4 of the NE 4 ids k no it correct. Thank you for the video!!❤
Thank you so much for your help!!
You are great. I watched some of your videos back in 2012 and you helped me understand how to calculate things. I ended up starting a llc 4 years later when my first prospects sold. I still point people to your videos. You are great 👍
Thank you so much!! You made it so easy to understand!! You are an excellent tutor!! God bless you!!
This was incredibly helpful and easy to understand. Thank you
NE quarter?
Fantastic and concise!! Thank you!
I think this will help my sister and I decide what to do. They want permission to put a $12 million dollar drill on our land in Oklahoma to drill a test well and they offered us 3/16 and 1/5 royalty options
On question 5, shouldn't the NRI for A also include the 1/8 royalty? As of the end of the video it only showed the 30% of the 7/8 WI.
Hi Richard. I don't think I understand your question. The purpose of question 5 is to indicate that B also gets a 70% WI in the OUTSIDE ACREAGE once a successful well is drilled, leaving A with a 30% WI. To calculate the NRI for the outside acreage, we do take into account the 1/8 royalty interest because we deduct that burden from 100% to get the 87.5. Then we divide the 87.5 between the two WI owners - with party A entitled to 30% of 87.5 and party B entitled to 70% of the 87.5. The calculation is really the same as in Prob 4, we're just emphasizing the calculation is the same for the outside acreage.
Thank you so much this video simplified alot clear and to the point :D
Alt+Tab will switch between windows easier.
Very good!!
Very well done! Thank you
ᵖʳᵒᵐᵒˢᵐ 😢
at 6:40 the NE/4 of the NE/4 Is incorrectly drawn as the NW/4 of the NE/4
A slight mix-up but still a very good video
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed, that threw me off!
You are God sent 😘😘😘
I must be the only GEN Xer to have joined the industry in the 80s, when the first BUST began! LOVE THIS! Next question... How do you not even look older, ever?
Thank you, Kim! You just made my day! I was just re-watching the video and critiquing all my flaws. Right then, your note came up! I so appreciate it and your timing is impeccable! Thanks again, so much!
One more thing - I joined in the 80's too - 1986, so you aren't the only one! :)
Thank you I am schooling from home and was struggling with this.
Fantastic presentation
Thanks so much, Parker!
18. OILCO's NRI calculation is incorrect. The correct answer is 67.5%. You have subtracted the full royalty amount from a lease that covers less than the full mineral interest.
Very good presentation
This is so amazing thank you so much
Finally i found what i m looking for. Thank u so much for explaining it in such a simple way.
Great video, I was curious about payouts associated with farmout and farmin agreements. If I wanted to research if a company has their payouts being tracked where would I go other than AFE non-consents?
Thank you very much! This was very helpful. I’m searching for land in Miami and needed to know these terms!
Thankyou very much.
Very useful video in understanding the metes & Bounds and sectional legal descriptions. Thanks a lot for doing this. It is explained in detail and you have made it simple to understand.
You are most welcome
Hi mam, I want to learn from you. But problem is I stay in India. I can share more if you share the details like email. Please I already have experience of royalty analyst and qgis experience. So I would like to take things further in career. I'm currently working for a royalty acquisition company in Texas.
Sure! Its ahoge@landtraining.net. I look forward to hearing from you.
i hit the like and subscribe. just confused a bit on the question
I need help. my practice question saids how many acres in SE 1/4 , SE 1/4 , SE 1/4 of section 16 .. what exactly am I suppose to do?
It's very useful. Thank you
Thank you!
Great! One note though, I think you state that 1 mile equals 800 chains. But I believe 1 mile equals 80 chains.
very nice description, thanks
Thank you so much, you made so easy to understand
I love you
Wow ... excellent tutorial ..I appreciate the step by step
There were some errors in the video. Two men used one chain. Kentucky, Tennessee, and Hawaii do not use the rectangular system. Granted that Kentucky and Tennessee were part of Virginia, so it is almost true.
It's really simple to understand, thank you so much
Thank you so much for the detail explanation, i really learnt a lot, i was getting confused by watching others video but your video made perfect in Mets and bounds legal..
Hey Shiva, you are working for which company?
Very helpful. Thank you!
Well done, Alyce. Thanks.
No, that was the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 😒
Thank you!
